Friendship is one of the best feelings in this world, and when two people join friendship and creativity, the results are often optimal. Ask to Marc Jacobs and Sofia Coppola.
The creative designer and the director ( now in the cinema with The Bling Ring) will work together for the new advertising campaign of perfume Daisy.
But it’s not the first time they work together: do you remember Ms Coppola in Marc Jacobs’ Juergen Teller campaign?
She stripped off naked pose in a swimming pool with a giant bottle of perfume.
Their friendship, over the years, has remained strong, with Sofia Coppola almost always present at the fashion- show of her friends or wearing one oh his creations for a major event like Oscars night.
Once, she said: “‘I first met Marc when I was 20, my mum and I were going on a trip to New York and I asked if I could go and see this guy’s clothes, Marc Jacobs, had seen some pictures and I felt for the first time like someone was making clothes for me.
And just like a very good friend, Mr Jacobs said: “She is young and sweet and beautiful. The epitome of this girl I fantasize of.’
