Robbie Williams is one of the best pop singer in the world, many people knows and sings his hits, like She is the one, Angels, Feel, Kids, Let me entertain you, Candy and many other.
Just like other famous popstars, Robbie has created his personal fashion label, Farrell, in which he wished to pour all his taste and brit pop style.
Robbie has committed some false step in fashion, but the taste has never failed.
Unfortunately, despite the good idea and product quality, fashion line has gone into liquidation and filed for voluntary bankruptcy.
The brand motto was ‘Wear it in, wear it out’ and built upon ‘great integrity, honesty, good manners and a sense of humour’ according to a press release at the time.
Robbie launched the line in September 2011 and borrowed its name from his grandfather, Jack Farrell aka Jack the Giant Killer, who was a notable dresser in his hometown of Stoke-on-Trent.
To promote betterhis collections, he also created occasional mini-films, most recently playing a ‘Guv’nor’ in a Lock Stock-inspired film.
Unlike Kanye West, who with its collections has had success and it seems that he wants to take “the leap”, Mr Williams maybe has paid his lack of constancy in this challenge, and he has lost.
I hope he has better luck with the next single, because it is always nice listen to his songs. He remains, fashion or not, a true artist. Entertain us, Robbie!
