“I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire,Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR, Louder, louder than a lion”… i started to sing this song when i have seen Marta Ferrari collection last night. It seems to live in a jungle. And i like it! Personally, when i listened for the first time to Katy Perry song, i was not so amused, but when i understood her message i tought “yes, girl, we are fighter and the others don’r bring me down today” (yes it’s a part of Christina Aguilera song, don’t worry, it’s not mine). What do you wear if you live in a jungle? Please, don’t say fig leaves and palm trees, and flowers in her hair. I always hope that the banality has left at least this place. As in a painting of Henri Rousseau (I love it! as Monet), this collection has something magical, it transforms “the characters in myths and emblems”. Bright colors and nature in a mix of silk, organza, cady… oh, it’s like a dream. You can tell to me “Cris, what are you showing it right now? Is it the right time?” and the answers to your questions is always YES. When Fashion meets Art is always time to share. You cand find ideas, inspiration, and you can create something you. IF you go to a gallery and you see a painting and you don’t feel nothing, why do you go there? Just to say “i saw it”?. No, you go cuz you want to see something special, something that shakes your soul and your heart. So, if you walk with a dress like this in that jungle that is your city, if you close your eyes you can imagine to live in a painting. Or in a music video with Katy Perry. Matter of perspective.
