London Fashion Week is become very glamorous and just like last years, on the catwalks British style inspired all whole season.
Gorgeous: this is the word most used to define the collection of Burberry. Central point of the parade were enswathe fitted, sexy dresses and separates, mostly in powdery and pastel shades in lace, with slouchy outwear made of cashmere, jersey and suede.
Christopher Bailey said after the show: “I like the idea of working with old fashioned crafts… and we’re also doing a collaboration with Apple today – I like that contrast between old and new”.
Bailey said also: “I wanted a mood of gentleness, of tenderness: something that was kinder and warmer and more enveloping. We were working on the idea of flowers and fragility and lightness. I like the idea of something sexy, and a little vulnerable but with something protective and safe and top.”
And I believe that his words express themselves all the perfection of this collection

Vivienne Westwood has not the typical “Royal Style”, but her fashion show is always an event, everytime a climate-change problem is proposed to the attenction of the public, and it happens also this time.
All models are with similar white make-up. Clothing of Red Label is more conventional; inspired by a vague natur motif, an intense recurring floral photoprint on dresses and on trousers, but also striped cotton shirting and shirtdress: the collection is a hymn to the practical, not only fashionable.
The message of Miss Westwood, at the end of the fashion show, is always the same: ” Buy less, choose well, make it last”.

Jackets have been the center of attention, with their exaggerated silhouette in the way to change the size of the women. Long shirtdresses show all the sensuality of being a woman.
