Paris Fashion Week kicked off and among the many must-see events of the early days of the parade, H & M Studio ranks certainly among them. A show on the catwalk (staged at the Grand Palais), not only for collection but also for the top model of the moment: the healthy again Kendall Jenner (who for health reasons had “skipped” the Milanese fashion week), Joan Smalls, Edie Campbell, Caroline De Maigret, an icon of Parisian street style and open track of the parade, and the ubiquitous Gigi Hadid .

Within a set design space, set on the moon, like the movie set of a film set in space, H & M entrusts its soundtrack from Caroline De Maigret, a wonderful audience that ranged from Audrey Tatou to Mark Ronson, the undisputed king of charts at the time. A functional  and sporty collection, where jackets and huge quilted bags are the must-have missed for the next year.

Smiling models (this is what is new) wore pants and skirt by geometric prints and colorful, overalls in a vibrant orange, or thick duvets and trapuntat by the metallic colors (it is still a collection space), large ribbed sweaters , and pants / jackets with high profile tailoring.

The designer Ann-Sophie Johansson described the collection as “a reference to the moon landing of the 50 … it is something glamorous and cool, very practical. We come from Sweden.” In fact, H & M Studio for three years now always enacts collections that mix the notes of Swedish practicality to a style that goes beyond the typical low cost brand.

It’s an eclectic collection that aims to capture the heart (and wardrobe) of the usual customers loyal to the style of H & M, but also goes on to also affect the public who want to mix  low cost with something more refined and sophisticated, the basic with something more eclectic. Is there something you would like to have this collection? Even the knee Moon Boots are perfect, and probably one of the most requested pieces at the end of the parade.
