Un amore, una storia, una passione, due vite. Così si può descrivere l’avventura di Susanna Pensabene e Ivano Ciabattini che, nel 1978, aprirono la prima boutique di moda vintage a Livorno, in via Marradi, al numero civico 115. La ricerca di qualcosa di nuovo, di speciale, di diverso dalla norma ha attirato e attira tutt’oggi i due amanti che, di lì a poco, visto l’enorme successo nel campo della moda vintage, aprirono il loro spazio in piazza Cavour al numero 10. Questa boutique si estende su una metratura di 400mq arredati con “calde atmosfere miste tra oggetti e complementi di arredo di antiquariato, tappeti moderni e antichi”.

Il nome dello store deriva dalla famosa via di Amburgo( la Milchstrasse) e il numero civico della loro prima boutique vintage, il 115. La loro filosofia è essenziale, semplice e lineare e si concentra in un’unica parola: unicità intesa, però, come diversità sia nello stile proposto che nella stessa maniera di concepire e definire il negozio che, per loro, è un salotto. Il salotto dello stile, delle ultime tendenze e della ricercatezza, infatti, è uno showroom, forse l’unico in tutta Livorno, dove si guarda sì allo stile, ma questo non è la cosa principale che, diventa, invece, la persona.

Il cliente, infatti, viene “trattato coi guanti”, servito e riverito e, il ricordo più bello che gli rimarrà è quello del servizio offertogli sia da Susanna, che è sempre in negozio, sia dalle splendide commesse.
