In Paris, the parades continue for the ready to wear collections for this autumn/winter 2015-2016. Yesterday, the collections left you with the feeling that you could earn more from the catwalk: the sense of belonging to a community (Chloe and Kenzo) and stylistic individualism (Ungaro, Galliano and Céline).
Chloé is inspired by being a woman, giving a touch of the 70s but minimal in coats, tops and short dresses which are hyper feminine. The purpose of the collection is to pay homage to the woman in a full 360 degrees, making it comfortable and at ease with garments that enhance the curves and sensuality.
More cosmopolitan and ideological are the ideas from Kenzo, instead it enhances its nomadic and savage side. Coats, pants and jackets with multicolored patterns make this a globetrotter spokesperson of the new millennium.
On the other side however, Ungaro, under the direction of Fausto Puglisi, showcasing a lady-like collection where white and black are the masters. Dresses will be harmonious and enticing; a must-have.
A similar concept from John Galliano where terracotta colors and patterns of marine animals are mysterious.
And a style lesson finally by Céline. Phoebe Philo tip for next season on the jacket that becomes a true work of modern art. Deconstructed harmony, but this becomes the leader par excellence, glamorous enough to replace the evening gown.
