London Fashion Week is ready to close its swinging doors on an issue of the weather in London.

The main protagonist of the day was the Burberry Prorsum fashion show staged at Kensington Gardens. Roksanda is gorgeous and elegant as always, and makes clothes for career women, artists, creative types, globetrotters, they are always perfect. The clothes are made to be noticed, so there was a choice of strong colors like burgundy, royal blue, and fine fabrics such as jacquard, tweed and silk. But the brand has confirmed a trend that can not be denied: the coming winter coat will be the real star of every look, the must-have to have always: Roksanda prefers them in heavy fabrics that emphasizes the waist, Erdem prefers them in calfskin with leopard print dresses accompanied by brocade, Peter Pilotto wants them with floral prints or fanciful that emphasize a break between the top and the bottom, Mulberry chose the mutton inlaid accompanied by the new it-bag, The Roxette.

Even from Belstaff coats are the focal point of the collection, where quilts, parkas, fur coats and capes mix the traditional male forms to feminine silhouettes, luxurious fabrics and natural fibers. It’s a vague reminder of the history of the brand as a supplier of the army and the pilots of the Royal Army. Taking inspiration from women like Amelia Earhart and Amy Johnson, the collection of Belstaff, presented within a “dilapidated” frame with paintings of vintage parachutes. Sweetness and determination, boldness and fragility are the connotative character of this unique collection.
Even women of Barbara Casasola are women who are winning and established, that enhance their silhouette with complete and enveloping clothes, but do not disdain a touch outside the lines and do not give up to the fringes of long sweaters. For daywear we think about Antonio Berardi who offer a collection of casual clothing made of supple, narrow and sculpted shapes like the works of Frank Gehri, the famous architect who with his works inspired this collection, and Pringle of Scotland, with slim-fit trousers and scarves long that reach to the ground.

 

Christopher Kane‘s collection dedicated to his late mother recently, and opts for a totally black tuxedo complete with details of color, in shades of red and blue, metallic dresses with coats of mail merged with lace hems, lurex sweaters and layered silk dresses.

Jonathan Saunders is chameleon-like as ever and wants to inspire optimism with this collection, but perhaps not everyone agrees, because of various prints contrasting with each other. Beautiful dresses with high necklines and sleeves-bracelets.
