Dal 2011 ad oggi Google Art Project ha collezionato oltre 63000 riproduzioni di opere d’arte ad alta risoluzione, contando sulla collaborazione dei 345 musei più importanti al mondo.

L’ambizioso progetto si può dire realizzato per il 20% delle sue possibilità.

Infatti tra i progetti in via di sviluppo figurano il 3D, che renderà ottimale la visualizzazione delle sculture indicizzate, i monumenti e i luoghi d’interesse che fanno parte del “World Wonders”, già accorpato all’archivio di mostre storiche nel Google Cultural Institute.

Altro progetto appena realizzato è il Google Street Art che riguarda gli interventi artistici urbani eseguiti in tutto il mondo.

Il prossimo progetto sarà il potenziamento dell’Open Gallery che per metterà a giovani artisti e gallerie di pubblicizzare le proprie opere d’arte.

Starting from 2011 to today, Google Art Project has collected over 63,000 reproductions of works of art in high resolution, counting on the collaboration of the 345 most important museums in the world.
