The collection Solyanka of Fabergè hides a very unique and fascinating story. This collection of jewelery has an apparently recent history.

In 1917, when the Russian Revolution broke out, a provided an astute merchant hid many Fabergé jewels in his house which was situated in Solyanka street in Moscow. Only in the nineties, however, because the house was restructured, it was discovered this immense treasure hidden in the walls. The Jewels, after this discover, were immediatly delivered to the Fabergè House. Fabergè increased the pieces of this collection and, just a few days ago, a new jewel has been added to the line Solyanka. The new ring is mounted on a frame made of platinum on which are rest several diamonds of great value and, in the middle of this ring, there is a large emerald. The jewel was created to honour the new Fabergè opening in Madison Avenue in New York.
