Puccini è sempre più cool, sempre più pop, nelle opera di Francesca Pasquinucci.
Sempre più determinata nel suo progetto di rendere la musica classica e le icone del passato qualcosa di veramente moderno, l’artista ha inaugurato il 2 dicembre a Torre del Lago la mostra Yes I Am Puccini, Yes I Am Pop, un progetto artistico visivo-sonoro con intento interattivo, realizzato in collaborazione con il musicista e sound designer Davide Giannoni.
Una serie di ritratti, realizzati con pennarelli Tombow su carta italiana, riempiono i visi dei maestri Puccini e Verdi con tinte forti e fluorescenti. Forse una blasfemia per gli affezionati, ma di certo un grande progetto artistico che non fa altro che rispecchiare la modernità di alcuni personaggi.

L’avevamo lasciata alle t-shirt e ai suoi Street Chickens all’interno del magico Imaginarium Art Studio, ed eccola adesso coinvolta in un nuovo progetto che vedrà una parte sonora aggiungersi successivamente: ogni utente della mostra, dotato di smartphone, potrà scaricare gratuitamente una applicazione che gli permetterà di ascoltare suoni e musiche attraverso la semplice lettura dei QRCode sparsi nella stanza fra le opere. Ogni persona che si aggiungerà alla lettura farà aumentare il volume e la durata degli effetti, per un’ esperienza decisamente social.

Every person who will add to the reading will increase the volume and duration of the effects, for a ‘very social experience.
